Ways to engage
How we work together
FLAIR
Fractional Leadership for Accelerated Integration and Results
Four stages, each with a defined outcome and a decision point. You are never asked to commit to the next stage before the current one has shown you something useful.
01
Complimentary · 30–45 minutes
Initial Introduction
One-to-one, an executive roundtable, or business leader interviews.
ObjectiveHow is the business coping, what is working well, and where are the persistent problems?
OutcomeA tailored agenda for the workshop.
02
Paid · 2–4 hour session
One-Day Workshop
A working session with the people who own the problems.
ObjectiveDeep dive on the problems that matter, initial systems mapping, and the quick wins hiding in plain sight.
OutcomePrioritized quick-win recommendations within 24–48 hours.
03
Typically 2 weeks, up to 4
Assessment
Working sessions across business and technology teams.
ObjectiveFull systems review, and an honest look at what your software actually costs.
OutcomeA 3–12 month roadmap with architecture recommendations.
04
Ongoing · monthly retainer
Fractional Oversight
Execution through your existing team and partners.
ObjectiveDeliver the roadmap, scaling scope up and down as phases change.
OutcomeThe roadmap delivered, and the capability left with your team.
Training.
Every engagement is meant to end with your people able to run the work. Structured training is part of how that happens.
Executive and board briefings
Enough fluency to ask useful questions of a data or AI proposal, judge vendor claims, and understand what is being approved.
Practical AI for working teams
Hands-on sessions for the people using these tools daily: where they help, where they mislead, and the boundaries around client data.
Data literacy and governance
Metric definitions, ownership, and the habits that keep a single source of truth intact once it exists.
Detailed curricula and pricing are in preparation. Describe the team or capability you have in mind and we will tell you whether a program already covers it.
Custom Engagement.
Work that does not fit the standard shapes can be scoped to whatever the situation calls for, whether that is a core conversion, a post-acquisition integration, or a platform build. Custom engagements typically follow the same structure as the roadmap retainer, with the phases sized to the problem rather than to a calendar.
Phase 1
Diagnostic
Systems, data quality, spend, and the people holding it together.
A findings document and a baseline to measure against.
Phase 2
Quick wins
Redundant licenses retired, definitions published, the most painful manual report automated.
Reduced running cost and reporting that reconciles.
Phase 3
Roadmap
A costed, sequenced plan with dependencies stated explicitly.
A board-approved roadmap with named owners.
Phase 4
Execute and transfer
Delivery against the roadmap, with ownership moving to your team as it goes.
Capability that stays after the engagement ends.
Start with a conversation.
Half an hour is usually enough to establish whether fractional leadership suits where your business currently sits, and you will get a straight answer either way. There is no obligation attached, and no proposal unless you ask for one.
